Platform Polish: Ready for Stories

Almost two months ago, we announced that Brandmine was live. Since then? Feverish work behind the scenes.

The platform you see today is significantly faster, leaner, and more polished than what launched in late October. We’ve been squashing bugs, optimizing performance, and building features that make the experience better—especially on mobile.

What We Built

Image compression overhaul. Every image now serves in multiple sizes and formats, automatically selecting the right version for your device. Mobile users on slower connections get smaller files. Desktop users get full resolution. The difference is invisible—except in load times.

Progressive Web App (PWA). 📲 Add Brandmine to your home screen and it behaves like a native app. Faster loads, offline capability for cached content, no app store required.

Dark mode. 🌙 For those who prefer it—or for reading at night without screen glare.

Mobile navigation redesign. A customizable bottom nav bar puts the sections you use most within thumb reach. The hamburger menu got a visual refresh too.

China-friendly infrastructure. 🇨🇳 We audited every dependency to ensure zero reliance on blocked services. All JavaScript libraries are self-hosted. No Google Fonts, no CDN dependencies, no content blockers. Chinese users get the same fast, complete experience as everyone else.

What We Refined

Beyond the technical work, we’ve been sharpening the methodology that makes Brandmine distinctive:

Narrative Due Diligence — our framework for evaluating founder stories as investment intelligence, not just marketing content.

Algorithmic Storytelling — the systematic process of timeline-first research, 6-phase story arc mapping, and quantified story selection.

Resilience Profiles — documenting the crisis moments that reveal founder conviction, the “Am I delusional?” chapters that press releases never mention.

These aren’t just concepts anymore. They’re documented, tested, and ready to scale.

What Comes Next

All the puzzle pieces are now in place. The foundation is solid. The tools work.

Starting now, we shift focus from building the platform to building content—telling the stories of exceptional founder-led brands across the Global South.
